The man ran into the bushes when the strangers came by, it was what they were wearing that made him think they were bad, they were a suit with a purple tie and golden shoes. The stranger begin to talk, but as the leaves rustle around the man the strangers ears prick up. One of them turns at the man. The man breathes heavily, too heavily, for one of the strangers walks up to the bushes and forces his head through the think bush. His head feels around searching for the man but with no success. The strangers walk away.

The creature sat in the streets. Its entire body covered in a think grey hair. A crowd had gathered around as I watched from my bedroom window.  As it shivered, they bounced back.  The creature turned its head and I could see its face. It had next to no skin and made a ghastly sound like a possum’s screech and leapt off into the distance. Someone in the crowd screamed. I jumped back from my window. Another monster had appeared, after the previous “dog thing.” Even though these events keep happening the police refuse to investigate. Why would they refuse?

The sly cat snuck through the bars of the manor’s fence, walking away from the world it knew. The door was open and the cat ran through. The cat knocked a table and a broken old green vase came crushing down.  Startled the cat ran out the door. It had begun to rain, and soon the cat was swimming in rainwater overflowing from the gutters. Across the road it ran, into the park, as leaves fell from trees before being lifted by the wind. It ran through the park to an old tree. It lay there, beginning to fall asleep.

The room I enter is cold; I’m here with just two of my friends… why did we enter this creepy Manson? Then suddenly a horrible stench enters my nostrils. I could not believe the smell!! I ask my friend, “Do you smell that?” of witch he replies with. “Well what do you expect when you’ve been living off beans for weeks?” We both start to laugh. After the laughter stops we continue our search through the manor. A door slams and the lights flicker. I scream and spin around. My friend is playing with lights. We begin to laugh again.

I entered the newsagent to buy a comic that I’d been waiting all year to buy. I walked up to the counter. In the glass display cabinet, the comic lay. I asked the shop assistant, “Can I please buy the comic in that cabinet?” he reached in and then something shocking happened. “Great choice young man… but I’m afraid it’s the last one” he said “and I was saving it for myself!” A look of sheer depression crossed my face. “Oh…” I replied slowly. I looked back into the cabinet and said goodbye to the rarest comic in the world!!!  

The year is 3015, and the first space station around the sun has been declared! A while ago, a solar flare hit this space station and caused damage to it! I was chosen to repair the outside of the station. Oh and it was the first space walk around the sun! I put my astronaut suit on and jump out of the station, but it was far too hot! And I jump back into the station, I check the outside temperature. The screen says that the outside temperature is 10000 Celsius. But I must fix it, so jump back out!

There I was about to kick the winning goal in the World Cup. The crowd roared. I kicked the ball and it flew into the net. My kicks are unstoppable and the ball flew right past the goalie. He couldn’t stop it as it hit the net behind him. But that’s when I realised – I kicked the ball through the opponent’s goal posts. A look of horror appeared on my face as the crowd booed and my team mates gave me the cold shoulder. But that’s what happens in Brazil when you pose as a star Australian soccer player!

The workmen have just finished transporting the giant chocolate egg. It was intended for Easter but was not finished in time. The town’s people gather around the masterpiece. It was rumoured that liquid marshmallow filled the inside, and many people cannot wait for it to be cracked open. The Mayor had called a vote: yes the egg is cracked open or no it remains whole. Now, four days later on the 15^th of June, the votes are in and 68% of the people voted yes. The wrecking ball did its job perfectly. Liquid marshmallow oozes out and floods the town!

I walk through the black gateway into the cold icy lands. Once I go through the gate I feel a shiver down my spine and my breath becomes heavy. Then I realise the gate moved further behind me and growling sounds echo around me. I begin to start running towards the dark shape of a mountain in the distance when I see an old friend. What he was doing here? I do not know but he says, “So cold!” Then he falls to the ground with an arrow in his back. Then I run back through the gate, sprinting back home.
